Time Tracking Overview

Time tracking is the core feature of Mataee. It allows you to log your working hours on a daily basis, project by project, with 15-minute granularity.

Access

Go to Time Tracking in the main menu. The page displays the current day by default.

Overview

The interface consists of three areas:

  1. The time navigation bar — allows you to navigate between days and weeks
  2. The task list for the day — each task is associated with a project and has "pills" for logging time. Carried-over tasks are identified by an orange icon and navigation links to parent/child dates
  3. The "New task" button — to add a task to the day

Who Can Track Time?

All organization members, regardless of their role (Owner, Admin, Supervisor, Member), can track time. Each user only sees and edits their own tasks.

Granularity

Time is logged in 15-minute increments (quarter hours). Each task can total up to 8 hours per day (32 quarter hours).

The daily total is displayed at the top of the page with a progress percentage based on a target of 7h30 per day.
