Terms of Use

Article 1 – Purpose

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Mataee platform, a SaaS time tracking and project management tool.

Article 2 – Registration

The user must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration. Access to the service is subject to choosing a plan and validating payment. Any use of fraudulent data may result in account suspension.

Article 3 – User responsibilities

The user is responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and all actions performed from their account.

Article 4 – Data ownership

Data entered by the user belongs to them. Mataee commits to not using it for commercial purposes without explicit consent.

Article 5 – Termination

The user can cancel their subscription at any time from their account settings. Access remains active until the end of the billing period.

Article 6 – Applicable law

These Terms of Use are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Avignon.

Terms of Sale

Article 1 – Plans and pricing

Mataee offers four plans, available as monthly or annual subscriptions:

  • Solo: €5 excl. tax/month on monthly billing, or €50 excl. tax/year (approx. €4 excl. tax/month) on annual billing
  • Team: €25 excl. tax/month on monthly billing, or €250 excl. tax/year (approx. €20 excl. tax/month) on annual billing
  • Pro: €79 excl. tax/month on monthly billing, or €790 excl. tax/year (approx. €66 excl. tax/month) on annual billing
  • Business: €199 excl. tax/month on monthly billing, or €1,990 excl. tax/year (approx. €165 excl. tax/month) on annual billing

Prices are in euros, tax excluded. VAT at the applicable rate is added.

Article 2 – Monthly and annual billing

For monthly subscriptions, billing occurs each month on the subscription anniversary date. It is automatically renewed each month and can be cancelled at any time, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current month.

For annual subscriptions, the full subscription amount is billed in a single payment on the subscription date. Subscribing to an annual plan constitutes a firm and binding commitment for a period of 12 months from that date. The subscription is automatically renewed on each anniversary date for a new 12-month period. Cancellation of an annual subscription can be requested at any time, but only takes effect on the next anniversary date. No pro-rata refund will be issued for the remaining period.

Article 3 – Payment

Payment is made exclusively through our payment provider Mollie. Accepted payment methods are: credit card, Paypal™ and SEPA direct debit.

Article 4 – Plan change

Users can change their plan at any time. The change takes effect immediately and a pro rata calculation is applied to the current billing period.

An upgrade may be required when the current plan limits are reached (number of users, projects or clients). A downgrade may be blocked if the current usage exceeds the limits of the target plan. The user must reduce their usage before being able to switch plans.

Article 5 – Promotional codes

Mataee may offer promotional codes providing price discounts or extended trial periods. These codes are subject to the following conditions:

  • Each code is for single use per organization and cannot be combined with another active promotional code.
  • Codes may be subject to an expiration date and/or a limited number of global uses.
  • Some codes may be restricted to specific plans or billing periods.
  • Discounts apply to upcoming billing cycles and do not entitle to any refund or credit.
  • Promotional trial periods extend the initial trial period and do not require a payment method.
  • Mataee reserves the right to modify or withdraw any promotional code at any time, without prior notice.

Article 6 – Termination

Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Access remains active until the end of the current month. No pro-rata refund will be issued.

Annual subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, but cancellation only takes effect on the subscription anniversary date. The user retains access to the service until that date. No refund for the remaining period will be issued.

Article 7 – Right of withdrawal

The legal withdrawal period is 14 days from subscription (article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code). However, in accordance with article L221-28, the user may expressly waive this right during registration in order to benefit from immediate access to the service. This waiver is offered as informed consent during account creation. The free 5-day trial period allows testing the service without commitment before any subscription.

Article 8 – Disputes

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. In case of dispute, the courts of Avignon shall have sole jurisdiction.
