Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. When enabled, a temporary code generated by an authentication app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.) is required at each login.

Enable 2FA

  1. Click Enable two-factor authentication
  2. Scan the QR code with your authentication app (or enter the key manually)
  3. Enter the 6-digit code displayed by your app to confirm
  4. 2FA is now active

Recovery Codes

Once 2FA is enabled, single-use recovery codes are generated. These codes allow you to log in if you lose access to your authentication app.

  • Click Show codes to view them
  • Store them in a safe place
  • Each code can only be used once
  • You can regenerate new codes at any time (the old ones will be invalidated)

Disable 2FA

  1. Click Disable
  2. Enter your password to confirm
  3. 2FA is disabled and recovery codes are deleted
