Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. When enabled, a temporary code generated by an authentication app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.) is required at each login.
Enable 2FA
- Click Enable two-factor authentication
- Scan the QR code with your authentication app (or enter the key manually)
- Enter the 6-digit code displayed by your app to confirm
- 2FA is now active
Recovery Codes
Once 2FA is enabled, single-use recovery codes are generated. These codes allow you to log in if you lose access to your authentication app.
- Click Show codes to view them
- Store them in a safe place
- Each code can only be used once
- You can regenerate new codes at any time (the old ones will be invalidated)
Disable 2FA
- Click Disable
- Enter your password to confirm
- 2FA is disabled and recovery codes are deleted
