Yes, you can edit or delete a past time entry in Mataee. Flexibility in managing entries is essential to ensuring the reliability of your data.
Editing an entry
To edit an existing entry, simply click on the task in your calendar. You can then adjust:
- The project associated with the task
- The name or description of the task
- The duration logged
- The date of the entry
Changes are saved immediately and reflected in reports and dashboards.
Deleting an entry
If an entry was created by mistake, you can delete it in a few clicks. Open the task in question and use the delete option. The entry is removed from your calendar and totals are automatically recalculated.
Restriction on invoiced entries
Once an entry has been included in an invoice, it can no longer be edited or deleted. This restriction ensures consistency between your time reports and your billing documents. If a correction is needed on already-invoiced time, an administrator can intervene to adjust the data.
Administrator role
Organization administrators have extended rights for managing entries. They can:
- View and edit entries for all collaborators
- Delete erroneous entries, including those of other team members
- Supervise the quality and completeness of entries across the entire team
