Inviting a collaborator to your Mataee team is simple and fast. In just a few clicks, your new member can start logging their hours.
Sending an invitation
- Go to the Team page from the main menu.
- Click the "Invite a member" button.
- Enter the collaborator's email address.
- Select the role you want to assign (member, supervisor, administrator).
- Confirm the submission.
The collaborator immediately receives an invitation email containing a link to join your team.
Invitation validity
The invitation is valid for 7 days. After this period, the link expires and you will need to send a new invitation if the person hasn't accepted it.
If the collaborator already has a Mataee account, they simply need to log in to accept the invitation. Otherwise, they will be guided to create their account before joining your team.
Managing pending invitations
From the Team page, you can view the list of pending invitations. You have the option to:
- Resend an invitation if the collaborator didn't receive the email or if the link has expired.
- Cancel an invitation if it is no longer needed.
What can a new member do?
By default, an invited member can log their own hours on all team projects. If you want to restrict their access to specific projects, you can configure their assignments from the member's profile.
The role assigned during the invitation determines the collaborator's permissions. You can change it at any time from the team settings.
